Castagnata Christmas Market

Our annual Castagnata event is back and better than ever at the Italo-Canadian Club!

In Italy, it is a tradition to roast chestnuts in the fall. There is even a traditional, social event called La Castagnata, which is something the Italo-Canadian Club of Kingston hosts each year, welcoming members and guests to enjoy freshly roasted chestnuts while sipping on wine and socializing with family and friends.

This year we've also invited local vendors to showcase their products in our first ever Christmas Market from 11am-3pm. We have 15 vendors confirmed. Read all about them below. We are expecting an appearance from the award-winning Greater Kingston Chorus at 12:30pm to serenade us with Christmas Carols. Freshly roasted chestnuts will then be available for purchase and eating in the Saletta from 1pm-3pm. (Free to ICC Members. $15/lb for non-members.) All are welcome to come shop and join us for these festivities!

Cash bar will be open, offering a signature Christmas Cocktail, and a complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate station will be set-up for anyone to enjoy. We will also be offering 10% off all frozen food products from our freezer!
